Chandos House is a Grade 1 listed Georgian property that has 18 bedrooms and five meeting, event and wedding rooms. Below are details on what accessible facilities the house has:
Lifts
Chandos House has an external chair lift from street level to lower ground floor for wheelchair access. The lift is not immediately visible and its use should ideally be booked in advance with a member of the meeting and events sales team or the House's reception desk in order that assistance may be offered.
The external lift dimensions are 720 mm wide and 900 mm deep. The maximum weight load is 150KG including the wheel chair. This weight loading may exclude use by powered wheelchair users. Use of this lift gives access at lower ground floor through a powered entry door.
Access in a wheelchair to all the floors is via the main building lift. All corridors in the venue are suitable for wheelchair access. The internal dimensions of the lift are 750mm wide, 1650 mm deep with a loading of 400 Kg. A wheelchair is available from reception for use whilst in the house if required.
Parking
There are no accessible parking bays directly outside the house, but there is one on the south west side of Chandos Street near to Cavendish Square. For further information on parking using a blue badge please visit Westminster Parking
Toilets
There is one unisex accessible toilet in the building; this is located on the lower ground floor. This is fully accessible and is equipped with an emergency alarm
Induction loops are not fitted as standard, however we do have portable induction loops that need to be pre booked with the meetings and events office, in order for these to work a PA system will need to be hired.

Bedrooms
At Chandos House there is one accessible bedroom complete with wet room style bathroom. As the House only has 18 bedrooms and is normally very busy advanced booking of this room is essential
