UBIFRANCE held their 6th French Design Forum at Chandos House, exhibiting the finest examples of French craftsmanship in our timeless surroundings.

UBIFRANCE, the French Trade Commission, held their French Design Forum for the 4th time at Chandos House March 2014. Now in it's 6th year, the exhibition has grown to be highly renowned within the interior design industry and focuses on the very best in craftsmanship.

The French Design Forum sees the finest French artisans brought to Central London to present their savoir-faire on bespoke interior projects. Simple but stylish white exhibition plinths held samples of the designers' craft as well as visual installations including iPads.

The high-ceilinged Robert Adam and James Adam rooms, with their large windows and colourful interior, were a natural backdrop to the vibrant colours exhibited by UBIFRANCE's 12 exhibitors.

The Terrace Room was used for catering throughout the day. A two course Hot Fork buffet was served over a 2 hour long service, to ensure all guests were catered for. Dishes include honey glazed duck supreme, and pumpkin ravioli. Refreshments and mini-bites were also available throughout the event, held from 10 am until 8 pm.

Finally having taken over all 3 of Chandos' Ground floor rooms, UBIFRANCE were able to use the Grand Staircase hallway as their registration area.

"The French Embassy Trade Office has been organising its annual trade only interior event - the French Design Forum - at Chandos House since 2011. The choice of the venue for such a bespoke event, destined to attract top interior designers and architects, is very important: it has to be central and easily accessible, have a strong sense of place with understated elegance, and feel welcoming so people feel at ease in such an intimate setting.

Chandos House ticked all the right boxes, and exceeded expectations with the high standard of service provided by the proactive and enthusiastic staff and the quality of the food served."
